Web series / Tivano takes the sun (and tinkers) in the Canary Islands

The crew of Tivano has just spent 2 months in the Canary Islands. 2 months to discover the archipelago and all these islands. He gives us here a summary in pictures of these visits.

For the pleasure of the readers, here are their favourites on the best spots for them.

The most beautiful anchorages:

La Graciosa, playa de la Francisca and Antequera in Tenerife.

The best ports:

The one in La Graciosa for its cute, cheap and easy access to the city. The one in Garachico for its proximity to the very pretty town and its natural pools. By renting a car, you can see beautiful towns (Laguna and Orotava), and make great hikes in the corner of Teide and Masca. And Hierro for the "travellers" atmosphere. Only the long distance travellers take the time to stop there, some of them have been around the world several times.

The best stopover for hiking:

La Gomera.

This episode also goes back over some technical problems that inevitably occur on a cruising yacht. This time it's the autopilot that requires turning the boat around. This is followed by a problem in the electrical panel that needs to be modified to avoid the fire. But fortunately everything is back to normal.

Today the Canaries are over, the crew is back on course, heading south towards Cape Verde. A crossing which should take 6 to 7 days to reach the island of Sal. Little wind in sight, but fortunately downwind..
