After yachting, Aston Martin launches into submersible racing. In 2016, the British luxury carmaker presented the AM37, a sports star This is a new range of products, developed in partnership with Quintessence Yacht. In 2017, it is developing Project Neptune in partnership with Triton Submarines LLC, one of the leading manufacturers of submarines and submersibles.
Triton has unparalleled expertise in the design, manufacture and operation of submersibles for research, exploration or recreation. The American company produces some of the safest submarines in the world, capable of descending to very shallow depths.

Project Neptune is based on Triton's diving and operating experience and Aston Martin's design, materials and craftsmanship. This concept developed by Aston Martin Consulting has a rather original shape and will be a limited edition. The concept will use the compact shape of the LP submarine, but will be transformed to be a true vehicle of the sea, with shapes and proportions reminiscent of the Aston Martin Valkyrie supercar project.

On the first drawings, we discover a submarine with two hulls and a big central bubble, with a very futuristic design.
