Sailboat or sailing submarine?

It's always sad when a ship sinks. But these images of a stranded sailboat, still carrying its sails, are quite surprising. The crew in their rush didn't even have time to sink!

Strange stranding in the United States north of Boston, Massachusetts. This sailboat ran aground on Tom Moore's rocks. This 32-foot Endeavour impaled itself on the marker that marks the rock.

It sank immediately, leaving this surreal image of a sailboat under sail without a hull.
