Nomade Voile continues its preparation for the big start. With a circumnavigation of the world in prospect and sailing in the tumultuous waters of the far south, it is preferable to have a well equipped boat. Nomade Sailing which until then sailed with jibs on snap hooks decided to pass to the furler.
The crew presents the installation of the 2 furlers (genoa and staysail) on their aluminium sailboat. An uncomplicated installation, but one that requires care and rigour. It is indeed a matter of replacing the props. It is therefore necessary to ensure the right length and strength.
Now that the boat is ready, the crew - not to mention the dog! - went to Ireland to warm up all June. And after a few rounds in the water around La Rochelle this summer, it's only in September that the course for the open sea will be set. Make way for the big cruise!
