Open day for the company Les Canalous les 1 er and April 2, 2017. This company is the largest in Europe to manage both new boat construction and river boat rental.
With a complete range from 7.00 m to more than 15 m, the company builds all its polyester boats in Digoin (71). We find the Tarpon range, but also the last born La Péniche which offers 6 rooms for 12 persons accessible to purchase as well as to rent.
The 2 open days will allow a detailed visit of the construction site as well as the discovery of the boats in the water. A walk on the canal is even planned. Whether you are a potential buyer of a new boat or a tenant for a river holiday, these days will allow you to better discover the know-how of this French shipyard.
Meet at the Maison du Bateau, on the marina at Digoin (71) on Saturday or Sunday morning from 10.30 am.
On the program (Saturday and Sunday):
- 10:30 am : Visit of the Toue Village of the Domaine des Demoiselles and its unusual accommodations with wine tasting (Château de Couches)
- Possibility of meals at the Relais du Canalous (Logis de France, Burgundy specialities)
- 13h30 : Departure to the construction site by boat "Ville de Digoin"
- Guided tour of the construction site
- 15:30 : Return to the Digoin marina by boat ride
- Visit of the boats at quay
