Dolink has specialized in the development of beacons to remotely track an object. These geolocation systems, which initially sent their position regularly, have evolved to now serve as a surveillance system for his boat.
The Vigil boat is a black box which has 4 functions: it monitors the boat's movements, it informs on the state of charge of the on-board battery but also warns in case of rising water or intrusion.

The Vigil Boat integrates a GSM chip to send an SMS directly to a phone or an email. This system therefore works when it is within range of the coast. Parameter setting is done via the Dolink interface (internet access).
Follow the movements of his boat
With its built-in GPS, Vigil Boat alerts as soon as the boat leaves a predefined area. The user receives an e-mail or SMS (of his choice) informing him of his boat's movements. It can be either a theft or a rental. In both cases, it is possible to remotely monitor the progress of the movements.
Battery charge level
Connected to the on-board battery, the VIGIL Boat is able to send the state of charge of the battery. This avoids deep discharges by connecting a battery charger in time.
Rising water alert
The Vigil Boat, connected to a wired water level sensor, is able to send an alert if the water level rises too much in the hold. This allows quick action to be taken before flooding becomes too great.
Intrusion Alert
An infrared sensor detects any presence on board. A message is also sent in case of intrusion. This sensor is also connected by a wire to the Vigil Boat.

The Vigil Boat costs 299 euros to purchase (it can also be rented) with no more than 45 euros for the water level sensor and 68 euros for the intrusion detector.
A subscription to the service is billed at 14 euros/month or 160 euros/year.

Much smaller and rather intended for outboard engines, the Watcher G2 is powered by satellites. It thus makes it possible to follow it even if one is out of GSM range. This small box (5 x 4 x 2 cm) is powered by 3 AAA batteries (it offers an autonomy of one year). Its integrated GPS sends a position every 10 minutes if the box is in motion.
This system must be used as a tracking beacon to follow a flight or simply to follow your boat in case of rental.

The Watcher G2 costs 249 euros and the subscription costs 239 euros per year.
