Seaview, through its French distributor Seaview Progress, offers a complete range of accessories that allow the installation of electronic devices on board a motorboat or a sailboat.
Historically, this American company started by offering antenna supports. Then came pods to hold device displays. Finally, last year, the company launched a line of waterproof cable grommets to ensure cable flow. All of these accessories are designed to make life easier for installers.
The antenna mounts are made of aluminum covered with powder coating. There are several shapes depending on whether you want to install large antennas like a radar aerial or a satellite reception antenna (telephone, television...). But there are also mounts for VHF antennas or GPS or even high beam or deck lights. Of course, all these supports can be combined to form a superb Christmas tree on the roof of the boats!
The strength of Seaview is to take into account all the references of electronic devices and to propose a solution for each one. In order to avoid the multiplication of the references, it proposes from now on a plate whose structure in aluminium is already pre-drilled to receive the aerials of the radars. This plate is covered with an ABS shell. Only this one will be to perforate according to the delivered template, according to your equipment.

Whether it is in the antenna mounts or even in the pods, the wires go through the feet of the mounts so that they are not visible and remain protected from the weather. So the pods which are intended to review the devices outside (near the bar for example) are also often used at the chart table for the cleanliness of the mounting they offer.
