Waterproofing
The SoundPanel loudspeaker is IP65 rated on all sides (front and rear). It can therefore be mounted on an open hull, a semi-rigid or even the fly of a speedboat. The plastics used are UV and salt fog resistant.
Simplified wiring
By bringing all the speakers together in a single enclosure, the SoundPanel makes wiring easy. All it takes is a single cable from the transmitter to the speaker for it to work. So there's no need to wire two opposite points on the boat to create a stereo effect. The speaker uses passive technology that does not require a 12-volt power supply.
Controlled acoustics
The SoundPanel speaker cabinet is perfectly tuned to the twitters (for treble) and woofer (subwoofer) that make up the speaker. The acoustical performance is independent of the mounting surface on which the loudspeaker is mounted. The fully enclosed cabinet protects the speaker on all sides, regardless of the mounting, inside or outside the boat.
Multiple mounting solutions
The SoundPanel loudspeaker can be mounted in 4 different ways using a full range of "wedges". Depending on the space available behind the wall the speaker can be recessed, semi-recessed or even surface mounted (without cutting out the wall). The 3 spacers are available as an option.
