Web series / Blandine and Max, a 22-day transatlantic race

Setting out on January 1st 2017 from Cape Verde, Max and Blandine tell us about their transat on their 30-year-old Dufour 4800. A beautiful and colourful adventure.

They've arrived! We had left our couple in Cape Verde on the first day of 2017. And now, after 22 days of transat, they have set foot on land in Guadeloupe. 22 days of light winds, if not non-existent and above all very changeable conditions with trade winds not established at all. Max even told us that "one time the wind came from the South, one time from the North, rarely from the East!

A deckchair under the sign of good mood with magical encounters like this whale who came to flirt with Bohemia. Not forgetting dolphins and the pleasures of fishing.

A deckchair, too, which in view of the serious preparation and the now good knowledge of the "old" Dufour 4800 went off without any technical problems.

Congratulations to our 2 sailors (and their crew for the occasion)! To you the pleasure and joy of sailing in the tropics..
