G850, speed and comfort on the program of the largest model of Grand

YB Marine Group markets the Caribe, Highfield and Grand brands, tenders and RIBs up to 7.85 m. In 2017, the Grand brand - semi-rigid and comfortable family tenders - will be enriched by a new unit, the G850L, the largest model of the Golden Line range, with its 8.50 m length.

This new day-cruiser from the Golden Line range follows the classic layout of the Grand luxury RIB range, namely large sunbathing areas at the front and a large bench seat at the rear, a comfortable 2-seater leaning-post with an integrated kitchen (fridge, hob and sink). A table (optional) allows the rear comfort area to be transformed into a dining area. As a reminder, the Golden Line range offers 6 models from 3.30 m to 8.50 m for leisure, water sports and walking.

In the cockpit, the U-shaped bench seat provides comfortable seating for friends or family. At the bow, in front of the central console, a bench seat contains a large locker that can accommodate a marine toilet and sink. In total, the RIB can accommodate 12 passengers and moving around on board remains easy thanks to the large side decks and handrails on the foredeck.

With its HSH Hull Design deep-V fiberglass hull, the G850 remains stable even in rough seas and at high speeds. The Ukrainian manufacturer says that it can withstand Force 8 winds and 4-metre-high waves. Its hull design reduces the wetted surface and therefore offers better performance. The boat is easy to drive, precise and easy to manoeuvre. Its seaworthiness has even allowed it to be homologated in category CE B.

It can be propelled by one or two outboard motors (for example 2x200 HP) and fitted with optional equipment to adapt to every sailing programme and even to suit professional use. The dual engine is also an important feature for professional uses, such as Coast Guard, police or emergency services. Finally, its fuel capacity of 300 L gives it a great autonomy.

The G850 is designed in neoprene hypalon (ORCA 866) or PVC with a choice of several colours (white-grey-black) and is available with a maximum engine power of 400 HP (2x250 HP). At the stern, the engine is framed by two small skirts with bathing ladder. With a recommended power of 300 HP, this RIB reaches a speed of 50 knots and exceeds 60 knots with the maximum motorization.
