How far along are you with your preparation?
It's all right, we're on schedule. Our little team just got stronger. We've gone from 2 to 3 people with the arrival of a new preparer. The boat is in the water, ready to go. We still have some final preparations to do.

Details like bunkering?
Most of the bunkering's done. All the freeze-dried stuff is already locked down. We'll load the fresh supplies once we get to Les Sables. It's a big job to plan these meals. But today it's ready. I've planned 100 days of food. For the last edition, with this boat Tanguy de Lamotte took 98 days... And in case of a hard blow, I've also taken a fishing line on board!
What will you have left to do in Les Sables?
There, we mainly plan to carry out the security visits. Although we have tried to anticipate them, they will probably require some small adjustments. We will also have a lot of visits from sponsors and journalists on board. All this passage hinders the technical team in their work. That's why we won't be doing any strat' work, for example.

All this preparation doesn't leave you much time to sail!
On the contrary, we've been going out to sea a lot these days. To test and tune everything. We're also reserving three days to build up an image bank that will be used throughout the race. Today, we are still in Port La Foret. Now that the big jobs are finished, we're preparing for the start to Les Sables-d'Olonne where we have to be at the pontoon before 14th October.
