360° pictures / Dehler 34, a modern but traditional cruiser

The Dehler 34 square

The new Dehler 34 is a success. By reworking the yachting classics of the 1980s, he managed to become part of modernity.

Official launch for the new Dehler 34 at the Cannes Motor Show. This is an opportunity to discover an 11-metre cruiser that does not play the modernity code card, but is in line with the brand's "racer" cruisers.

Dehler 34

With the Dehler 34, you will find a "real old boat". It incorporates the features that have worked so well since the 1980s, namely a rear cabin, a toilet and a cabin in the front triangle. The galley on starboard is L-shaped and the chart table faces it.

In the saloon 2 berths face each other with a folding table in the centre that rests on the mast (through). Nothing original, classic, but an intelligence in the arrangements that has proved its worth.

On deck, the large cockpit open to the aft with two wheel steering shows that we are in the presence of a sailboat of its time. The lines are fluid with a whistle deckhouse which is unfortunately a little imposing, due to the height under the bars.

Dehler had been advertising for some time: "A legend is reborn!" (A legend is reborn). What we discovered from the boat in Cannes shows that the challenge has been met: a beautiful combination of classicism and modernity.
