The Furuno GP39 replaces the GP32. It is a stand-alone GPS receiver (with its own screen) that can be adapted to a semi-rigid or an open hull as well as to a large cruising yacht. This device indicates the position, but also helps to carry out the navigation (course, distance and tracking). Of course the position information can be exported to another device (plotter, VHFâeuros¦).
A quick comparison with the characteristics of the old GP32 quickly shows why this new GP39 is interesting.

The main advantage of the GP39 is its color screen offering a better definition (more pixels). With a housing identical to that of the GP32, Furuno makes it easy to replace the devices without re-cutting the dashboard. The icing on the cake, the GP39 is available at the same price as the GP32âeuros¦

To help renew your equipment, Furuno offers a trade-in of the old GPS for 50 euros for any purchase of a GP39.
