The date of the Fêtes Maritimes de Brest 2016 is getting closer and closer! Organized from July 13 to 19, they make the Rade de Brest the international center of the maritime world for a week. For this 7th e In this edition, about 1,500 boats are expected to participate, including both small and large boats, but also hundreds of thousands of spectators.
As an indication, in 2012, for the 20 years of life of the Fêtes Maritimes de Brest, 9000 sailors from 25 different nations were present, 715 000 visitors were gathered around a fleet of 1,500 boats in celebration.
To start preparing your visit, here is the Fêtes map, on which you will find all the indications you need. The âeuros quays from the Recouvrance bridge âeuros will be teeming with boats and dedicated spaces until the commercial port. To get there, there are four entrances:
- Tourville Gate, near the Recouvrance bridge
- Porte Jean-Bart, near the Tour Tanguy to board traditional sailing boats
- Porte des Rampes, near the basins of the Port of Commerce
- Place des Formes door, at the end of the 5 e port of Commerce basin
