The frame of Eovolt bicycles is made of aluminium, the same one used on aircraft. Besides its weight, it is interesting when sailing, because aluminium does not rust. A small detail, this electric bike, which has a screen to manage the battery and the level of assistance, is also equipped with a USB plug to recharge your laptop while on the road. Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from September 6 to 11, 2016. And for the second consecutive year, the Elegance Competition will be held on September 8. Reserved for exhibitors at the Show, owners or collectors of motorboats and day boats under 12 metres in length, it will be held in the historic setting of the Old Port of Cannes, near the VIP pontoon and the Festival beach.

The parade of boats dear to the Riviera will be held in front of visitors, journalists, professionals, amateurs. But above all in front of a jury chaired by Annette Roux, president of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
Depending on the number of entries (maximum 20), the jury will make a pre-selection of the boats eligible to participate in the Competition. Registration is open until August 26th and free of charge.
Selection criteria
To participate, you will have to parade on a boat with elegant lines, with an elegant crew of maximum 4 people, including at least one woman. The jury will use the following criteria to establish a ranking:
- Quality of the restoration and design of the boat,
- State of conservation and its history
- Rarity of the model
- Elegance of the crew and quality of the parade.
The boats will be limited to 20 and divided into two categories:
- Boats built before 1980
- Boats built after 1980
Presentation of prizes and awards
The awards ceremony will take place after the parade at 7pm at the VIP Club of the Yachting Festival in the presence of participants, partners, journalists and VIPs. A prize will be awarded to the most elegant women. A special prize will also be awarded to the jury's favourite.
