Feeling 13.90, the integral dinghy revised by the French specialist

13.90 : this is the name of the future Feeling, which brings back the traditional features of the range while bringing freshness and modernity.

Feeling is back in the tradition. After the renewal of the site and the relaunch of the production of existing models, it was time to release a new model.

Feeling 13.90 (that's its name) goes back to the origins of the yard.

The name already reminds us of the Feeling 10.90, a flagship model in the range that has left its mark on many sailors. Even if the 13.90 brings a lot of modernism, it wants to be in the line of its elder.

For the first time, the shipyard called on the architect Marc Lombard to design this dinghy. Except for the Delphia which are also dinghies (but not integral, because there is always a fake keel left), the Feelling range does not really have any competition. These are the only integral dinghies built in polyester (the main competition is aluminium).

Like all Feeling, the 13.90 will be an integral dinghy (the pivoting dinghy retracts entirely into the hull). The floor of the saloon will be high enough not to have a daggerboard in the centre of the boat.

According to the shipyard, this integral dinghy will be equipped with 2 small fins attached to the hull to ensure grounding stability. These fins will be angled and should also participate in the boat's anti-drift plan (very useful for upwind sailing).

The deckhouse is surrounded by portholes to offer a beautiful view from the saloon with a view to the front.

The Feeling 13.90 adopts a roll bar above the cockpit. The mission of the latter is twofold. Ensure a rigid fixing for the soft top and especially move the pull point of the mainsail sheet back. This way the descent is no longer hindered by a mainsail rail and can progress towards the mast. The architect then has every opportunity to incline it as he wishes, avoiding steep descents.

Before launching this project, the site called on former Feeling owners and prospects to define the main lines of what the ideal Feeling would be. The architect naturally participated in these collaborative meetings to produce the current design.

Currently under construction in the site in Les Sables-d'Olonne, it will be necessary to wait until early summer 2017 to discover this new model.
