Privilege Signature 650, a renewed model that introduces some new features

The Privilege Signature 650, which will be unveiled in 2022, replaces the Signature 460, whose dimensions it nevertheless retains. Modern, this catamaran introduces some novelties compared to its predecessor, launched in 2016.

Maximization of glazing and new mast location

Privilege Marine is renewing the largest model in its range with the Privilege Signature 650 which will be launched in 2022. If the dimensions are the same as those of the Signature 640 euros it replaces after its launch in 2016 euros namely 19.50 m hull length and 9.20 m beam euros the Lombard plan introduces some novelties.

The glazing has been maximized, both on the hulls and on the roof, now with large panoramic windows and an uninterrupted windscreen placed further forward, with a more vertical angle. The mast is now located on the front of the roof instead of on the foredeck, which frees up space on the deck. The deck is equipped with new trampoline nets. The visibility is improved.

Another new feature is a raised teak sundeck in front of the windshield, with a step for access to the roof. Compared to the 640 Series, the rigging, in carbon as an option, offers 50 cm more mast height and a 30 cm longer boom, for a genoa surface increased by 3 m2 and a mainsail surface increased by 6 m2.

A large cockpit with hydraulic platform

The interior layout is by Franck Darnet and now offers a flush deck between the saloon and the cockpit, which has been lowered to offer this unhindered circulation. There are two large sunbathing areas on the starboard and port sides, as well as a lounge area. The optional hydraulic platform makes it easy to launch a 600 kg dinghy or other water toys, or simply to enhance the swimming experience. An electric grill, an ice machine and a minibar complete the cockpit equipment.

An enlarged flybridge

A staircase with handrails leads to the flybridge, which has been enlarged. There is a U-shaped saloon with a table and a fully equipped helm station. All maneuvers are performed on the 4 winches. As an option, a second helm station can be installed on the port side to facilitate maneuvering. The helm station can be equipped with a fixed bimini with an awning on the lounge area. Finally, the euro windshield, already present on the previous euro model, is now made of unbreakable, scratch-resistant Plexiglas.

Two versions of the layout for the square

The saloon can be arranged in several ways. In the galley version, the galley is integrated into the starboard hull, and the saloon is equipped with two L-shaped saloons. A connecting extension between the two coffee tables allows to create a table for 10 people. The saloon can be transformed into a large relaxation area by adding extra cushions. A storage space has been provided for the furniture in the port corridor. A television and a navigation area complete the saloon. The galley can also be located in the saloon on the starboard side, with a single lounge on the port side.

Compact or expanded master suite

The owner's suite is located at the front of the boat and has a side porthole on the port side and a panoramic opening on the front, above the king-size bed. The headroom has been raised to 2 meters. Here again, two arrangements are possible for the private bathroom. Either in the port hull to create additional storage space and integrate a sofa in the suite, or more forward and directly accessible from a few steps, in the more compact version of this master suite.
