The Icon Selazzio is a concept from Dutch shipyard Icon Yachts that combines the features of an explorer yacht with the livability and comfort of a floating mansion. Her strong, masculine exterior design links the expansive interior layout for a connected indoor/outdoor space.
The aft beach club area spans three levels and features a very large pool with waterfall and vertical garden, as well as a giant ring-shaped screen wall. Two large staircases connect the beach club with the upper deck spa area. The large round pool above the cylindrical screen wall is transformed into a helipad.
The beach club was designed for a relaxed beach atmosphere during the day and for a party at night. Waterfalls and a cylindrical projection screen create a bright and attractive atmosphere at anchor or in port. Automatic umbrellas around the pool allow for outdoor enjoyment on hot days and serve as an airy relaxation area when a breeze blows outside.
When the bow transom opens, it forms a U-shaped "walkway" on the water. One can move around the yacht thanks to level corridors secured by glass handrails.
This large walkway on the sea links the lower deck to the main deck, the observatory and the upper deck. The hull shape has been specially designed to provide robust seaworthiness, inspired by modern ships.
The interior layout is also open to the sea and can be completely adapted according to the owner's wishes. The goal is to gain maximum living space.
