Stopover - Le Port de plaisance de Capbreton (40)

The marina of Capbreton is located on the Atlantic coast, along the southwest coast, in the Landes. It is the only marina in the Landes, in the heart of the resorts of Hossegor and Capbreton.

Access to the marina of Capbreton

The entry and exit of the port are done through the pass of Capbreton with a draft of 2 meters. The access in the pass is possible from less than 2 hours to more than 2 hours from high tide. At the entrance of the pass is the North Breakwater (43°/39.4 N âeuros 01°/26.9 W) topped by a red light (2é [6 s] 13 M âeuros 8 M) and the South Estacade, with at the end an immersed platform at mid-tide for 30 m, marked by a green light ([2é (6 s) 9 M âeuros 8 M].

The Boucarot access channel leading to the port is 50 m wide.

When you arrive in the harbor, you will dock at the first pontoon [pontoon B] which is the reception pontoon. It is located on the right as you enter after the fishing port. Then report your arrival to the harbor master's office. Don't forget to inform the harbor master's office a few days before your arrival for your stopover.

Facilities and services at the Capbreton marina

The Capbreton marina has 950 berths for boats up to 23 meters long. Each berth has drinking water and electricity and access to the pontoon is by an individual electronic badge.

Each pool has sanitary facilities, showers, waste and used oil collection basins. The weather forecast is posted daily.

The refueling station offers a device to assist the boarding of persons with reduced mobility. In season, a cab boat offers to connect Capbreton and Hossegor, crossing the Boucarot.

The fuel station is located on the quai de la pêcherie. There is an automatic fuel distributor available 24 hours a day. There are also pumps for grey and black water.

In the technical area of the port there is a boat lift up to 30 tons, as well as various nautical professionals [maintenance, repair, mechanics, enginesâeuros¦].

Harbour Master's office hours

The Harbour Master's Office is located on Avenue Georges Pompidou. Depending on the season, it is open either every day, or during the week and on Saturday morning.

  • November to April monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m
  • May to June & September to October 7 days a week from 7 am to 7 pm Monday to Friday. From 8 am to 6 pm Saturday, Sunday and holidays
  • July & August 7 days a week from 7 am to 9 pm.
