This Tuesday 26, Marseille welcomed the largest liner in the world, allias, the Allure of the Seas, a mastodon of the Royal Carribean fleet, belonging to the Oasis class. Her measurements are breathtaking: 362 meters long, 66 wide, 225 282 tons, cruising speed of 22 knots, 18 decks in total, 24 elevators and 2752 cabins. This floating city is able to welcome on board 5492 passengers in double cabin and 6410 passengers in total and 2384 crew members.
A whole season of cruising in the Mediterranean
Allure of the Seas will depart from Barcelona for 7-day/8-night cruises and will call at Palma de Mallorca, Marseille, Florence, Rome and Naples. This is the first time a ship of this size will sail the Mediterranean for an entire season.

Allure of the Seas, a new destination in itself
This cruise behemoth has seven themed districts in which there are numerous public spaces each hosting an impressive array of entertainment and dining options âeuros 32 restaurants and bars spread across the 16 passenger decks. Innovation is everywhere on Allure of the Seas, especially in the entertainment: Aquatheater (acrobatic theater in the pool), Studio B (an ice rink), Central Park (the first garden on board a ship with more than 12,000 natural plant species), a climbing wall, a zip line, two surfing pools, a real carousel in the Boardwalk area, original Broadway musicals like Mamma Mia (starting in June), an even wider variety of restaurants, the comfort of original loft-style cabins and suites.
