After leaving the commercial port of La Pallice where she was carrying out refit operations, the Hermione reached the Trawlers' basin yesterday to the delight of visitors.

The Hermione, which had left Rochefort for La Rochelle, finally returned to the Trawlers' basin, after a brief stop at the commercial port of La Pallice, to carry out a few refit operations and change her failed engine. She was due to return to her location on Saturday 21st February, but the weather conditions postponed her return to Sunday 22nd. It was at dawn, with the sky still dark, that the majestic frigate entered the port, before the eyes of curious visitors and representatives of the town.

Accosted Quai Sénac de Meilhan, in front of the aquarium, it can again welcome impatient visitors until its departure on April 18, 2015. Visits are therefore once again open and there is a risk of crowds to board the frigate.

However, there's no need to rush, the Hermione will remain moored in La Rochelle and open to the public until April 14th. She will continue to carry out sea trials before the big departure, but visitors will be able to visit her every day. The crew will be delighted to welcome you from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 1.30 pm to 6 pm. The entrance fee is 4 to 7 euros.

Guided tours can take place in the evening, upon reservation, according to two possible formulas, to visit the interior of the ship: the historical tour " The Hermione with the lantern." or the "Visit of the Gabier" with a crew member.
