Blanc Marine has been developing for more than 14 years electric folding bikes and non-electric, available in three models: 16-inch, 21-inch and 26-inch. For the year 2015, Blanc Marine is launching a new PM4 range, available in electric (20 and 26 inches) and non-electric (16, 20 and 26 inches) versions.
These new models have a suspended frame (a bicycle frame on which the rear triangle is deformed to allow the rear wheel to better follow the terrain), only offered by the brand, which brings even more comfort. On this new range, the suspension has been moved forward to offer more comfort and stability to the user. The seatpost has been moved back behind the bottom bracket axle to improve the rider's feeling and ergonomic position. A telescopic fork has been fitted in response to numerous customer requests.
The 7175T6 aluminium tubes provide more rigidity and precision and further reduce weight, and the presence of 2 disc brakes increases braking quality by around 40% compared to other bikes. The PM4 range is equipped with 21 speeds. In addition, 2 new frame locking and unlocking systems have been installed with a double safety system that prevents the frame from opening during use.
Equipped with an electric motor and a rechargeable battery, the new Blanc Marine range makes pedalling easier thanks to its electric assistance. Light and compact, it can be carried by hand and does not take up any storage space. It weighs 13.4 kg without a motor and folds and unfolds in 15 seconds.
Blanc Marine bikes can be easily stored in the boot of a car, under a desk, in a boat and are a good complement to existing transport in urban areas.
