First meeting of the nautical year at the Boot Düsseldorf

The world's largest boat show will take place in Dusseldorf, Germany. From January 17 to 25, some 230,000 visitors will come to discover the many models on display as well as the expected previews.

From January 17 to 25, 2015 will take place the 46 ème edition of the Düsseldorf Boat Show at the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center. Europe's largest boat show will welcome around 230,000 visitors from all over the world, mainly from Europe. 9 of the 17 exhibition halls will be occupied by boats and yachts, both sailing and motor. 440 manufacturers, dealers and importers will be present to exhibit some 1,700 boats, from simple pirogues to luxurious yachts and vintage boats, including canoes, light sails, etc.

All sectors of the nautical industry will be represented at Boot Düsseldorf, in the 17 exhibition halls provided for this purpose: sailboats, motorboats, yachts, multihulls, canoes, kayaks, fittings, equipment, engines, water skiing, wakeboarding, surfing, paddling, tourism, organizations, marinas, yacht clubsâeuros¦

International exhibitors

Exhibitors from 60 countries will be represented at Boot Düsseldorf, with nearly 800 exhibitors from outside Germany. Among the most important are the Netherlands, Italy, France and the United Kingdom.

Many previews

The Düsseldorf fair will also be the occasion for more than 100 international exhibitors to present their previews.

Motorboats and multihulls in the spotlight

The motorboat will be particularly well represented at the show, from the simple inflatable with outboard engine, to the open sports boat, the cruiser or the luxury yacht. 250 boat builders, dealers and importers will occupy six exhibition halls, in order to give a representative sample of the world of motorboats. Among the best known are Bavaria, Bénéteau, Cranchi, Jeanneau and Nimbus.

On the multihull side, Halls 15 and 16 will be dedicated to these models which are making good progress. Visitors can expect to find a growing number of large boats. Among others, Catana, CNB Lagoon, Fountaine Pajot, Nautitech and Slyder will be present.

Luxury well represented

The luxury segment is on the rise again and 60 luxury yacht models will be on display at the Boot Dusseldorf. Having experienced a slump, especially in the 20 to 25 meter yachts, the new Monte Carlo models from Bénéteau as well as the new Prestige from Jeanneau have brought back some color to this segment. Azimut, Sunseeker and Princess will also be exhibiting some of their larger models.
