Strand Craft is a design studio specializing in the design of boats and superyachts but also cars and motorcycles. Created in 2003 by Kurt Strand, the agency tries to propose luxurious, beautiful and performing models.
A luxury jet-ski
Strand Craft has designed a luxurious jet-ski, the V8 Wet Rod ...modelled on the concept of the watercraft of the future. With its elongated design, reminiscent of the whale, this 16-foot (4.88-metre long) jet-ski allows you to ride at sea in the greatest comfort. Its sleek, clean lines are reminiscent of the waves and give it an aerodynamic look. Built in carbon fiber and epoxy resin, it is both comfortable and efficient, benefiting from a powerful engine. Indeed, this jet-ski has a 5.7 litre V8 hidden under its bow. With 300 horsepower, it can reach 65 miles or 120 km/h. Partly customizable, thanks to its trailer and the paint you can choose, it has a chrome-colored engine cover, wood inlays and carbon inserts. Luxury features include a GPS, radio, waterproof luggage rack and a cooler hidden under the seat.
This luxurious jet-ski was revealed this summer by the Californian company and should start production at the end of the year. In terms of price, there are no bad surprises, since luxury means exorbitant prices... So it will cost you $49,000 (38,386 euros) to buy this new toy.
