European Yacht of the Year 2015, and the nominees are Part 1

As every year since 2001, the election of the European Yacht of the Year 2015 will take place at the Düsseldorf Boat Show in January 2015. Here is the list of the 25 nominees in five categories.

This year, 25 boats are nominated, in five different categories, for the European Yacht of the year 2015. They were chosen by 11 experts from European nautical magazines. The evaluation visits and sailings took place at the end of the Grand Pavois in La Rochelle. The results will be announced in January 2015, during the Düsseldorf boat show, which will take place from January 17 to 25, 2015.

Created in 2001 by Yacht magazine in collaboration with 11 other magazines, the principle is to elect one model per category. Out of 120 candidates, only 25 boats are selected, five per category.
