Jeanneau unveils its news a few days before the 2014 Grand Pavois

Two days before the launch of the Grand Pavois boat show, Bateaux.com was able to ask Constance Brément, Jeanneau's communications director, a few questions. She presents the new products that will be exhibited in La Rochelle but also the news of the group.

Why choose the Grand Pavois to exhibit your new products?

Constance Brément: This is a historic event, one of the major French trade shows and linked to a very important presence of our dealers in western France. We are present on the Grand Pavois from the beginning. It is also an opportunity to present our new models, to have them tested by our customers and to sell them.

Which boats will you be exhibiting at the show?

All the new products of the year will be exhibited at the show, except the Jeanneau Yacht 64 which is currently in Cannes and therefore not available for La Rochelle. Our boats, both sailing and motor, will be presented, because we know very well that this is a major show. We will present our new products, Outboard and In-board, which Jeanneau will reinforce with a fly offer. Not to mention the sailboat favoured by the western market.

List of new products The: The Velasco 37 F and the Velasco 43 F the Cap-Camarat 7.5 CC Series 2 and 7.5 WA Series 2, the Mery Fisher 695, the Leader 36 , the Sun Odyssey 349 and the Prestige 420.

What are the next events to come?

We will also be present at all the major international trade fairs: Italy, Spain, Turkey... in Europe but also in the United States. Moreover, the Prestige 45 launched last year continues its world tour and is currently in the United States.

On the other hand, our major events are the release of our new products, eight in total available in several versions. This is an important figure for a construction site. And we are also working to strengthen our Jeanneau In-board offer with our two new fly models in the Velasco range.

What supports Jeanneau's expertise and seriousness?

On all these new features, we worked with well-known architects such as Michael Peters, for both Cap Camarats. We carry out a qualitative work both in terms of design and navigability of the boat.
