Organized by the Yacht-Club de l'Odet, classic and traditional sailboats, coming from the ports of the Atlantic, the English Channel and elsewhere, will take the start of regattas around the bay of Bénodet. This gathering is one of the most recognized in France and is positioned as a key event in the Challenge Classique Manche Atlantique, a challenge run under the aegis of the Yacht-Club Classique and the JCH.
Among the boats present to compete, we will find the "cruising yachts" but also the sport keelboats. The classic or neo-classic series such as the Ailes, Cormorans, Requins, 5.5 mJI, 12 m2 du Havre and Joli-Morgan will compete between the islands of Glénan and the Odet.

Restoring the classic yachts to their former glory
The "Rendez-vous de la Belle plaisance" aims at sailing and racing the classic yachts that made the beautiful years of yachting in order to maintain their maintenance and their restoration. Finally, they sail in the waters for which they were built.
Program of the event
On Thursday, June 26, boaters will come to register to participate in the regattas. On Friday 27th, the first regatta will start at 2pm and will be followed by a picnic on the river and the discovery of the Odet at 5:30pm. On Saturday 28, the regattas will start at 10:30 am and a big dinner for the crews will gather the participants at 8:30 pm. Finally, on Sunday 29th the last regattas will take place from 10:30 am and the results will be announced from 4:00 pm around a closing cocktail.
