Anne-Sophie Ponçon

Anne-Sophie Ponçon Long-distance sailor, lover of great voyages

Trained as a lawyer and historian, Anne-Sophie Ponçon discovered sailing thanks to her husband, who inevitably drew her into the marine world. With their two daughters, aged 4 months and 2 years, they left in 2015 and 2016 to sail around the Atlantic, from Cape Verde to Greenland, via the Bahamas, on a small 33-foot boat. An adventure that will give birth to a book: Sea water chronicles.

Back in France, the family prepares a strong sailboat, bigger and more autonomous, to leave for the ice with their three children.

Thanks to Bateaux.com, Anne-Sophie can satisfy her desire to write and tell the story of life on a sailboat she is particularly fond of putting into words the story of all those anonymous sailors who have made so many beautiful journeys in the shadows. She particularly enjoys putting into words the story of all these anonymous sailors who achieve so many beautiful journeys in the shadows.
