Ultim, six 32-metre trimarans at the start
The Ultim class includes the largest boats in the fleet, with six skippers entered.
Louis Burton on Ultim Armand Thiery, Charles Caudrelier on Maxi Edmond de Rothschild, Thomas Coville on Sodebo Ultim 3, Tom Laperche on SVR Lazartigue, Armel Le Cléac'h on Maxi Banque Populaire XI and Anthony Marchand on Actual Ultim4 make up this category.
These multihulls are based on carbon platforms with foils, designed for high speeds on the Atlantic.
Ocean Fifty, eleven 50-foot multihulls

Departure from Saint Malo on November 1, 2026
The Route du Rhum Destination Guadeloupe 2026 will set off from Saint Malo on Sunday November 1, 2026, bound for Pointe à Pitre.
Each skipper will have to complete a 1200-mile qualifying course to confirm his or her participation. The fleet thus constituted offers a complete vision of the forces at play in this single-handed transatlantic race.
