Vuarnet's Summer 2026 collection marks a return to the nautical world. The company draws on a long-standing episode in its history, when it was an official sponsor of the America's Cup in 1985. This maritime past serves as the anchor for a capsule designed for use at sea, with an emphasis on lenses and reverberation management.

A return to the sea based on the legacy of 1985
At the heart of the collection, the Capsule Ocean brings together a range of three frames in transparent blue matte. Vuarnet recalls its nautical past through a line presented as adapted to the conditions encountered on the water. The brand recalls its involvement in the America's Cup in 1985, when it already equipped sailors with eyewear designed for the marine environment.

The three references announced are the RACING 05 described for active use, the LEGEND 02 ORIGINALS with a more classic silhouette, and the BELVEDERE 01 in a more versatile range. The capsule also includes a waterproof pouch, a simple but coherent accessory for on-board use.
Mineral lenses designed for strong reverberation

Vuarnet showcases its mineral lenses Blue Polarlynx these lenses are designed for very bright marine environments. According to the brand, they block 99% of glare, resulting in sharper vision and better color perception. The lenses also feature hydrophobic and oleophobic coatings, designed to limit the adhesion of water to the surface.
Capsule Ocean will be available from may 2026, and announced between 250 and 300 euros while the waterproof pouch is displayed at 25 euros .
