The day after the Cannes Yachting Festival closes, this major event on the international nautical calendar brings together manufacturers, designers and equipment suppliers to discuss the latest trends. This sixty-fourth edition promises to be rich in novelties, with world and European previews. Here's a selection of models and equipment to discover on the pontoons of Genoa, including fast boats, redesigned cruiser cabins, new collaborations and technological innovations.
New products from the Italian shipyards
Italian manufacturers take advantage of their national show to showcase their latest creations. Cantiere Mimì celebrates its fiftieth anniversary with two models: the Libeccio 9.5 Walkaround which adopts a wider stern inspired by the 11 Wa, and the Libeccio 13.5 Cabin with three cabins and two bathrooms. Apreamare unveils its Gozzo 48 Cabin which continues the contemporary reinterpretation of the gozzo sorrentino with spacious appointments.
High-speed daycruisers
New products include Max 44R from Maxim Yachts makes its European debut following a launch in Miami. Powered by three 400 hp Mercury Verado V10s, she breaks the 50-knot barrier. Its carbon-fiber console and steering equipment demonstrate the attention paid to ergonomics at high speeds. For performance-oriented yachtsmen, this model sets a new benchmark.
Contemporary and minimalist walkarounds
Visit Wayfinder 38 Cabin from the new AIATA shipyard is presented for the first time in Italy. Designed by Jarkko Jämsén, its sleek lines and uncluttered bow combine style and efficiency. The Finnish builder Saxdor is also exhibiting its 340 GTWA, the first walkaround in its range, alongside its flagship 400 GTO and GTC units. These models highlight the modularity and versatility sought by many sailors.
Collaborations between construction sites and designers
Some new models illustrate the influence of exterior design in the nautical world. Tecnorib bags presents a special edition of Strider 13 developed with Kiton as part of the KNT project. Lomac offers a limited version of the GranTurismo 12.5 a collaboration with stylist Alessandro Martorana. These series show how the boat also becomes an object of aesthetic expression and personalization.
On-board equipment and technology
In addition to units, equipment manufacturers are unveiling technical solutions. Navico Group introduces three new features: chartplotter Simrad NSS4 the sailing computer B&G Zeus SR and the electric motor Lowrance Recon . CMC Marine exhibits its electric stabilization systems, while Besenzoni showcases its hydraulic and electric walkways. Yamaha Marine Italia presents the 2026 range of WaveRunners and offers sea trials of the Stradivari 52 equipped with four 450-hp XTO outboards.
