Orders still possible in 2024
Arksen, which deploys a range of large yachts dedicated to exploration, has just unveiled new information about the Arksen 65. This new Explorer model, designed to explore the oceans, can still be ordered this year, 2024, with an 18-month construction lead time, for delivery at the end of 2025.
Recycled aluminum construction for worldwide travel
The design of the Arksen 65 is distinguished by its use of 70% recycled aluminum. Her program caters equally well to couples, families and small groups looking for a self-sufficient, environmentally-friendly cruising experience. Its ability to cover more than 3,700 nautical miles without refuelling makes it a choice option for transatlantic or Pacific voyages, while also being capable of navigating inland waterways such as those of the European landscapes or the Great Waterway Loop in the USA.

A sturdy exterior and a luminous interior
The Arksen 65 combines aesthetics and robustness, with an exterior design by Humphreys Yacht Design and an interior by Design Unlimited. Its large wrap-around windows offer 360-degree views, and the raw aluminum aesthetic reinforces its distinctive look. The interiors blend comfort and functionality with natural and recycled materials, creating a warm, harmonious living space on the water.
Living spaces aboard the Arksen 65 include an open saloon with large panoramic windows, a spacious master cabin, and an aft cabin that can be configured as a central double berth or twin convertible. The second forward cabin can be fitted out according to the owner's needs, as an office, storage space, extra cabin or galley.

A model based on the Arken 85
This model, the fruit of thousands of hours of research and development, succeeds the Arksen 85, hailed for its performance in sea trials. True to the Explorer series, the Arksen 65 is designed for high-latitude cruising, enabling owners to explore remote areas with confidence thanks to its hull developed by Humphreys Yacht Design, requiring little infrastructure ashore.

Navigation comfort
The design of the Arksen 65 guarantees optimum comfort at sea, thanks to a hull that dampens pitching movements and stabilization options to minimize the effects of rolling. Externally, several options are available, including a raised helm station, a painted hull and alternative wooden decks. The aft deck is laid out for entertaining, with a barbecue kitchen, a stern-facing sofa and a double-leaf table seating up to eight.
Jasper Smith, founder and CEO of Arksen, states: "The Arksen 65 is at the cutting edge of innovation in this sector. It takes all the basic ingredients and capabilities of the larger boats in the Arksen range, such as the 85, and brings it into a more manageable budget. It's the ultimate exploration boat that my family and I can enjoy by controlling our environment and being able to go pretty much wherever we want. I'm incredibly proud of the work Arksen's engineering team has done to refine the design with our partners. I can't wait to see the Arksen 65 under construction and off on its adventures".

Two propulsion options
The Arksen 65 offers two propulsion options: a hybrid variant for quiet, environmentally-friendly navigation, and a configuration with two 160 hp John Deere diesel engines for enhanced performance.
