Special Edition / Kéronde: A simple, economical way to communicate from your boat, and more...

With its Wiki V3 and V3+ boxes, Kéronde offers a combined package combining communication with land, data upload, tracking and remote home automation functions, all at economical prices for yachtsmen who want to stay connected while cruising within reach of the coast.

Multifunctional Wiki boxes

Brittany-based Keronde offers boaters a range of functions combining communication, safety and on-board comfort. It does this with its Wiki V3 and V3+ boxes. The latter, connected to the GSM network via a SIM card, give access to on-board data downloading thanks to their 3G/4G and 4G+ WIfi router. Incorporating a GPS, they also offer a position alarm function, sending an SMS alert in the event of abnormal displacement due to slipping mooring or theft. What's more, thanks to the 2 relays integrated into the box, the yachtsman can remotely control, via a mobile application, two of the boat's functions, whether for comfort or safety, such as air conditioning, lighting, engine circuit breaker or bilge pump. A camera can also be connected to the Wiki via Wifi. This can be used to monitor what's happening on board, make recordings and even provide a voice connection.

An economical and flexible offer

While satellite connection, even with new solutions, remains costly, requiring specific antennas, the Wiki de Kéronde offers an affordable alternative suitable for the majority of yachtsmen. With just a SIM card, which can be a simple option on the owner's personal package, there's no need to spend more than the purchase of the box. As long as the boat remains within range of the GSM network, it's possible to have a connection throughout the boat at a lower cost, plus a range of additional services. The dual SIM card allows you to use a second operator to avoid any risk of a white zone, or to connect to another country's network. Wiki automatically selects the best signal at all times. Frequencies are compatible with Europe, North Africa and part of Asia.

Easy to use and install

The Wiki de Kéronde is easy to use and requires no special installation skills on the part of the yachtsman. It connects just like a simple Wifi router, with LEDs to indicate signal reception. The linked mobile application is free of charge.

Supplied complete with all equipment, it is powered from 12V or 220V via a transformer, and fits easily into on-board equipment, with a consumption of just 250 mA.

Simple and robust, the Kéronde solution offers a way of staying connected on board that will satisfy most yachtsmen within a reasonable budget.
