Princess S80, a stylish motoryacht with an open deck plan

The Princess S80, with its 25 m length, is the largest model in the S range of the British manufacturer Princess Yachts. Her design, inspired by her little sister, the S72, exudes power, while her layout is strongly outward-looking with an open main deck.

A versatile layout with a distinctive look

Princess Yacht has unveiled the first visuals and information on the Princess S80. This is the flagship of the S for Sportbridge range, with a length of 24.66 m. The design is developed in-house in collaboration with the naval architects Olesinski and the Italian design house Pininfarina. It features the same exterior styling as the S72, launched at Boot Düsseldorf 2023: flowing lines, sporty profile, distinctive glazing. Its layout is versatile, with a large open saloon, a raised cockpit or a separate, enclosed cockpit with accommodation for a crew of three.

The superstructure glazing, which extends into the cockpit, together with the roof cap, provides sun protection while keeping the dining area open. The main deck has three distinct spaces: sunbathing, relaxing and dining without the need to convert some elements.

The cockpit is accessible from a central staircase on the electro-hydraulic bathing platform. There is access to the garage on the port side, which can accommodate a Williams SportJet 435 tender, with a specific launching system. The spacious teak cockpit has a functional layout, with two large side sunbathing areas aft, equipped with oval steel handrails. The lounge area, with its four benches, has two coffee tables. In the front, the dining table for 6 to 8 people with its optional extendable table is positioned next to the kitchen bar. Sliding doors and a large opening window above the kitchen bar connect the outside and inside for a natural flow. The kitchen is fully equipped with Miele appliances, and a large refrigerator/freezer. A secondary bar unit can be installed for breakfast.

A bright main deck

The main deck is bathed in light from the panoramic windows. The layout consists of a C-shaped settee in front of the port side lounge area, with a spacious helm station forward with all instruments and controls. The pantograph door gives direct access to the starboard side catwalk to the foredeck for easy mooring. Above, the optional sliding roof extends across the entire width of the main deck. The foredeck has two U-shaped seats that can be converted into a sundeck.

The 28.7 m2 sportbridge, accessible from the cockpit staircase, offers a nice outdoor living space with a steering position, numerous benches and sofa, and a bar with barbecue and refrigerator. A television can also be placed in this space.

Four cabins and bathrooms on the lower deck

The lower deck houses 4 cabins with private bathrooms. They are equipped with air conditioning and opening portholes for natural ventilation. The full-width master cabin features curved, handcrafted furniture with natural wood finishes for a contemporary look.

An area dedicated to the crew

The aft storage area and the two-berth crew cabin with bathroom are located aft of the engine room. Various layout options are available, such as an additional crew galley area, a third crew berth or a laundry room. A watertight door on the bathing platform gives direct access to this area.

A sporty model

The Princess S80 receives two MAN V12 engines of 1900 or 2000 horsepower each, to reach a maximum speed of 34 knots. A 7,000-liter fuel tank is also included. Vector Fin or gyro stabilization options are available for better control in rough sea conditions.
