Specialist in jet propulsion for large vessels
Centouno Navi is a new Italian brand founded by the designer Manuela Lucchesi. She entrusted the design of the first two yachts in the range to naval architect Marco Arnaboldi, founder of AB Yachts, who since 1992 has been equipping his gliding yachts with waterjet propulsion and using composite sandwich construction.
The advantages of jet propulsion
Centouno Navi's goal is to offer very fast superyachts. Thus, both models are capable of exceeding 58 knots thanks to their waterjet propulsion. The advantages of this type of propulsion, in comparison with traditional propeller drive shafts, are numerous according to their promoters:
- Higher speed
- Faster acceleration
- Reduction of the draught
- More maneuverability
- Noise and vibration reduction
- Reduced maintenance and extended motor life.

Glass and carbon fiber construction
Nevertheless, to make the most of these advantages, the hull structure must be rigid and strong but also very light. Thus, Centouno Navi will build its new superyacht models using carbon fiber and glass in a hybrid sandwich with a vinylester resin and PVC foam core. Both models will have customizable interior design and layout options.

28 m, 60 knots maximum
Centouna Forza is 28 m long and is equipped with three MAN 12 V engines of 2000 hp coupled with three MJP 450 jet propulsions which give it a top speed of 60 knots. With a fuel tank of 7,000 liters and a cruising speed of 50 knots, the shipyard announces a range of 500 miles. The design shows a low superstructure, an open transom and an elongated bow. The rear cockpit offers a fixed bathing platform overhung by a terrace with tilting bulwarks, fitted with a very large sunbathing area (covering the dinghy garage) and a bench seat opposite. The front deck also has a second sunbathing area.

39 m, 58 knots maximum
The 39 m long Centouno Eterea is designed around three decks. The hybrid composite/carbon construction is identical but the motorization differs. It receives four MTU engines of 2600 hp each coupled to MJP waterjets for a top speed of 58 knots and a cruising speed of 50 knots. It has the same tilting bulwarks on the stern, as well as the bow sundeck with the addition of a spa. The dinghy garage is also integrated into the bow. The large cockpit offers enough space to store a guest tender or a chaseboat.
