Project 406, the largest and most luxurious sport fishing boat in the world

Royal Huisman has just finished building the aluminum hull of Project 406, the largest sport fishing yacht in the world. Her owner, a big game fishing fan, will benefit from all the sport fishing equipment and a luxurious and comfortable interior.

A project for an imposing sport fishing boat

Royal Huisman is currently building the world's largest sport fishing yacht, a luxury unit of 52 m (171 feet) in length, at its Dutch yard. This project was commissioned by a private owner who loves sport fishing and big game fishing. The naval architecture and the interior and exterior design was entrusted to the design studio Vripack. Royal Huisman has built some of the world's most beautiful yachts, yet it began its career as a builder of fishing and woodworking boats, its core business for decades.

Typical American Sport Fishing lines

Project 406 has the typical style of a typical American sport fishing boat with a long flared bow and a stepped superstructure. In fact, there are 6 decks on board! The bulwarks are high on the front before almost disappearing on the back to offer a cockpit very low on the water to fish easily and to have an impregnable view on the water. Overlooking the cockpit, a deck allows you to comfortably watch the action. Finally, at the highest level, the sky lounge can be used for catching fish during the day while transforming into a beautiful terrace with 360° view at night. The builder and designer have announced a neat and luxurious interior design.
