Transfer its know-how to the Top-Line range
With the launch of the T-Series (large RIB) and more recently the Stradivari 43 presented in September 2021, the Capelli shipyard has taken advantage of its expertise to transfer it to other models in the range. The 1000 WA benefits from this evolution. It is rather an update of the historic Tempest 1000 to provide even more space on board and give it a new look.
New hull and new look
Thus, it has a polyester bow that gives more space to the solarium area of 2.7 m2 that can be converted into a total sunbathing area with backrests of 4 m2, as on the Stradivari. The shape of the floats (made of hypalon) on the stern is conical turned outwards, completed by a diagonal elliptical cap in a different color. This new look is a sign of both the sportiness and elegance of this new 10.55 m long and 3.28 m wide model. The hull is also new to increase the interior volume and promises interesting performances according to the shipyard. The Tempest 1000 WA can receive 2x250 or 2x300 CH Mercury.
A large and safe cockpit
The boat is accessed from the large integrated bathing platforms and a side passage to port. The cockpit is well protected by polyester reinforcements, with a U-shaped saloon with a tilting backrest and a removable table to create a huge 3.5 m2 solarium. A total of 8 people can sit around the table. The movement is secured by integrated handrails on the gunwales.
A spacious and comfortable steering console
The leaning-post is larger than on the 1000 Open and is equipped with a sink and a removable cutting board as well as a 65 L refrigerator. The center console houses a spacious cockpit with room for a 16-inch screen and two bench seats with thigh braces for standing piloting. A large windshield ensures protection during navigation and integrates a handrail. A hard-top provides shade during navigation. Shade cloths for the front sundeck and the rear saloon are available. A polyester roll-bar can also be installed, completed with a sun awning. The access to the front deck is easy thanks to the wide gangways.
A large and bright cabin
inside, the cabin has gained 10 cm in headroom compared to the previous model. Thus, it has 1.82 m at the rear and 1.62 m at the front. There is a double berth and a large cupboard to port with a corian worktop. A lot of work has been done on the luminosity and ventilation, notably with a large side window, a deck porthole and a large mirror on the bulkhead.
on the starboard side, the bathroom is equipped with a toilet and a vanity with storage space.
Rates and options
This new Tempest 1000 WA is priced at 243 euros210 euros. A wide range of options is offered, from the ski pole, to the cockpit cover, through the 220 V system.
