The Marlin 850 HD Pro is a professional RIB offering a robust construction, plenty of space on board and several layout possibilities. It is also available in a GT version designed for pleasure boating with sunbathing areas, aft saloon, etc.
A look of barrenness and horses under the hood
With its 8.50 m length and 3.18 m width, the Marlin 850 HD Pro GT offers a nice deck surface, on which you can easily move from the front to the back, around the central console, thanks to the wide gangways. If the layout is "pleasure" oriented, the design emphasizes the robustness of the boat with large hypalon floats of 62 cm in diameter. The latter are lower at the stern, to provide more stability to the boat at anchor, and higher at the bow to avoid hitting the waves. They also provide greater protection for the foredeck. A trademark developed by Marlin Boat in 1993 and adopted on all models of the shipyard. Its pronounced V-shaped hull is made of vinylester resin. Equipped with 2x200 HP Selva euros its recommended power - the manufacturer announces a maximum speed of 46 knots and a cruising speed of 23 to 25 knots at 3euros200 rpm.

Regarding the layout, the semi-rigid, approved in category B for 16 people, offers all the comfort necessary for a day of cruising. A U-shaped bench seat at the rear with the possibility of installing a table, a leaning post with sink and refrigerator, and a very large U-shaped bench seat at the front that can be transformed into a sunbathing area. The steering console houses all the navigation instruments, with a dashboard surface large enough to accommodate a 16-inch screen. The latter is adorned with a T-Top and a windshield that should prove protective when navigating. The double bolster is rather original, offering an upright driving position, supported by a padding in the crotch area. A configuration that should certainly attenuate the shocks during navigation, but which remains a bit imposing (depending on the size).

The Marlin 850 HD Pro GT is beautifully finished and equipped, with standard foam floor covering, optional swim platform extensions, standard electric windlass, stainless steel davit and carbon sunshade supports. Storage space is available throughout the boat, in the front deck seats, in the console or directly under the rear bench seat.
