A renewed model for more comfort
The Clubman 22 Plus has just undergone a facelift after 30 years of loyal service within the range of the Italian shipyard Joker Boat. Its deck plan has been completely modified to offer maximum comfort and relaxation to its owners. Thus, the rear cockpit is now well protected by a polyester block integrated on the floats in hypalon neoprene of the boat. To access it, you have to step over the rear bench seat or tilt the backrest to the rear, in the sunbathing position.
A well protected cockpit
The U-shaped seat offers high backs and frames a wooden table that can be unfolded to enjoy a meal together. The table also pivots on itself so that it does not interfere with the bolster back. The bolster tilts forward to provide additional double seating and increase the space in the saloon. By lowering the table and the backrest of the rear seat, you get a huge sunbathing area. A smart system to save space! Storage lockers are located under the saloon benches.
A smart cockpit
The center console has a nice wide pass-through for getting around the boat and handrails for holding on. It offers enough space to accommodate one or two 9-inch screens, with the steering wheel positioned on the port side. A nice high wrap-around windshield should be effective for protection while sailing. In the navigation position, the double bolster offers a comfortable seat with armrests. You can also opt for a stand-up position by raising the seat thanks to a wedge system.
Sunbathing in numbers
The front deck is also dedicated to relaxation and lounging by offering a second fixed sunbed. It can also be extended by connecting it to the console seat with an additional cushion. The seat facing the sea also offers a comfortable place with backrest and handrails to hold on. Under the front deck, the lockers will allow to store cushions and extensions. As standard, a sun canopy protects the entire aft cockpit from the steering console.
Outboard motorization
On the stern, the bathing platforms offer on the port side a handrail to easily climb up from the bathing ladder and on the starboard side a practical locker to store bits for example. These two skirts of good size frame an outboard engine with a power between 200 and 250 hp. We have no doubt that its fiberglass hull retains the marine qualities of the range, which we will confirm during a test.
Smart and well finished
With this new model, Joker Boat offers a high level of finish and well thought out and clever details. Clearly, the objective is to enjoy the benefits of anchoring in large numbers with the multiplication of seats and sunbeds. Ideal for coastal cruising, the Clubman 22 Plus is approved in category C for 14 people - in the Mediterranean!
