Change the traditional bathing platforms
Based on a specific request in 2017, the Benetti shipyard launched a 40M yacht, the Oasis 40M, in September 2020. To fit in with the growing trend of a new generation of superyacht owners - a less formal, seafaring lifestyle with more sharing moments - the shipyard wanted to create a concept that goes beyond traditional beach clubs. These are usually separated from the living area by partitions. Of the 6 design firms selected for this project, RWD was chosen to develop the concept, taking it even further. "With the Oasis 40M concept, we have introduced a combination of 5 features on this aft deck; the term beach club or beach area no longer applies." indicates the site.
Here are the 5 features of the Oasis Deck:
- Opening bulwarks extending the deck on the water, but protected from the waves
- Swimming pool integrated in a flush deck near the sea and the living area
- A 270° view from the stern, even from the living room
- A mix of sun and shade to allow guests to enjoy the terrace at any time of the day
- A design that transforms the deck into a vast, convivial oasis, from the main salon to the bathing platform.

A concept developed on three other models in the range
This is how the Oasis Deck concept was born. Still in collaboration with the design studio, the yard then developed a smaller model, Oasis 34M, with a completely different engineering package, but still offering this "oasis" while preserving the side garage. The interior design is also distinguished by a more youthful and sporty layout. The owner can choose a less traditional layout, with a dining area on the upper deck Skylounge and a main deck for relaxation with sofas, a TV area and a bar forward.

If integrating the 5 features of the Oasis Deck on a 34m boat was a challenge for the shipyard, applying it on a 50m boat offered a different playground.

The B.Now 50M is now an Oasis Deck and offers even more space, including a large, shaded American bar and a wellness area with fitness and spa on the upper deck. This space can also be used to store diving gear, kayaks and other exploration equipment.

The Oasis Deck has also been integrated into the new B.Now 66M Oasis, the largest model in the Oasis range. Once aboard the boat, one is immediately in contact with the large deck space offering a large pool, large fixed sunbeds, seating... There is also a large upper deck, an outdoor dining area with a bar as well as a main lounge, also offering a cocktail bar. Almost 50% of the main deck is dedicated to the "Oasis" lifestyle.
