Electric mobility is on the rise. But in this field of bikes or other electric scooters, we find everything and anything. To ensure a perfect quality and to offer a reliable and performing equipment, Laurent Cobos created Occimobility at the end of 2020. His idea: to rely on Dutch manufacturers, specialists in 2 wheels.
Orange Ventures, based south of Rotterdam, has designed and marketed bicycles over the past decades that have been exported to all northern European countries. With this expertise, Orange Ventures in 2017 launched the design and distribution of electric scooters adult version to provide new solutions for micromobility environmentally friendly and without negative impact on ecosystems.
It is from now on 2 brands Orange Ventures which are distributed in France by Occimobility: Skotero and Veeley. The first one answers all the expectations with 12 models. The second one, more up-market, but also heavier, offers an alternative between the standing scooter and the sitting bike.
In order for these machines to be adapted to boats, they must be foldable and above all portable (therefore not too heavy). This is done with the first model at 10.5 kg including battery. Concerning the oxidation, the paintings are all anodized. All the models have a column adjustable in height in order to adapt to all the gauges of driver. The autonomy is between 30 and 60 km depending on the model.
The differences between the models are based on driving comfort, safety and power: wide floor, large handlebars, large wheels, hydraulic disc brakes, key start..
The scooters have a screen with information (speed, battery charge ...) and for some the possibility of finding this information on his phone.
Prices start at 500 euros. The highest models are around 1700 euros. The Veeley, a very high-end model, costing 1849 euros.
