T-Top is a specialist in solar protection for boats. Created in 2005, this Vendée-based company (Aizenay) was taken over in
2014. Its new manager has started a restructuring and a diversification of the activity. The know-how of the 30 people who make up this company ensures quality protections: hoods, bimini, awnings, courtesy curtains, wintering bays, covers... The sewing and metalworkers work hard to sew, weld and manufacture the products meticulously designed by the design office.
T-Top works with the largest shipyards. Bénéteau, Jeanneau, Bali, Fountaine-Pajot or Neel among others have confidence in the quality of T-Top products. T-Top's activity is divided between original equipment (new boats), aftermarket (distribution) and refit with the renewal of canvas. Sales to private individuals are carried out through a network of professional dealers spread throughout the world, in order to ensure precise and quality assembly, guaranteeing the satisfaction of the end customer.
A qualitative know-how
T-Top is a small business that combines the quality of a handcrafted work with an industrial production capacity, while being attentive to its customers' needs. The young company shows reactivity to answer all types of requests, it even makes it one of its priorities. A single contact person ensures a personalized follow-up, remaining attentive and warm.
But what would be a quality service without quality products? It is with great exigency and a very particular care that the seams and the assemblies are carried out then inspected with the magnifying glass by an agent of control, in order to optimize the customer satisfaction.
It is with this same requirement of quality that T-Top has constituted its team. The panel of skills implemented is very broad. This is why the young SME favors long-term hires, often following in-house training.
An eco-responsible approach
The emphasis is also placed on the application of an eco-responsible approach. In addition to the search for materials that limit the ecological impact to design the protections, especially in the choice of fabrics, the company is part of a waste sorting system with an internal motivation of all staff. In addition, it works with associations that recover fabric scraps to give them a second life.
Growth and diversification
Now installed in a new building (since 2018) of 2050 m2, T-Top is ready to take up the challenges and maintain its growth. Moreover, a diversification towards shade sails and pergolas has already been initiated for a few years.
