With the arrival of the last two sailors, this ninth edition of the Vendée Globe is finally coming to an end. This year will be forever etched in the annals: a start behind closed doors due to the health crisis, a shipwreck and a rescue, the favourites forced to retire or put their race on hold, unbearable suspense and a race transformed into a contact race, a breathless finish with the first to finish, even though they were relegated to second place, a longer race time than in the last edition and a very low dropout rate..

In short, this edition of the Vendée Globe will have thrilled us for almost four months, as the race unfolds. See you in 4 ans?!
