Grégoire Chéron has decided to enter the Mini Transat 2021. He shares with us, through videos, his preparation for the race throughout this year leading up to the start. After his first night at sea, this time he takes us on board for his first ocean race, the SAS in the Bay of Morlaix. If he is excited, he is a little apprehensive as he has never raced before.
For this first race, he will have to make his way to Les Sables-d'Olonne from Roscoff by rounding the DST at Ushant, then head south-east to a buoy at the exit of the Garonne, before heading back to the Ile d'Yeu and Les Sables-d'Olonne.
Between calm and gale force winds, Grégoire shares his daily life aboard his Mini 6.50. How to manage sleep, navigation, make strategic choices, wash, change, eat, eat, occuper?? For 5 days, we share the daily life of the sailor, who has no shortage of humour to tell his story.
Then it's finally time to put your foot down, between wanting everything to stop and wanting to continue. What a pleasure to meet up with friends again, and especially Hugo Picard, better known under the nickname "Hugo Picard" The Sailing Frenchman "We will also be taking part in the Mini Transat 2021, whose adventures we regularly share with you.
