Day 2 - Le Marin - Grande Anse D'Arlets: 16 miles

After taking over the boat - in case you are sailing without a skipper - we advise you to weigh anchor no later than 10:30 am to reach Grand Anse d'Arlet. Situated about three hours sailing time away, this bay is home to many fish and turtles, as well as a magnificent white sand beach.

It is not possible to anchor there, you will have to take a buoy to enjoy the day, and why not extend your afternoon at sea with a dinner ashore in the evening.

Day 3 - Grande Anse D'Arlets - St-Pierre: 16 miles

The next morning, direction St-Pierre, a navigation of about three hours. This small town located at the foot of Mont Pelée still bears the stigmata of the volcano's eruption in 1902. You will be able to visit the town and its museum dedicated to this catastrophe. Diving clubs also organize outings to discover the underwater wrecks.

Day 4 - St-Pierre - Anse Couleuvre: 8 miles

Direction the north of the island along the coast and its black sand beaches. After about 1 hour and 45 minutes of navigation, you will reach Anse Couleuvre, opposite the islet La Perle. This famous snorkelling spot will allow you to admire the fishy waters of the cove. Not recommended for anchoring due to its rocky bottom, prefer to spend the night at the quiet anchorage of Sch?lcher, 17 miles away.

Day 5 - Schoelcher - Bay of Flanders - 2 miles

After about 30 minutes of sailing, you can anchor at the Banc des flamands, opposite Fort-de-France. Take the opportunity to visit the capital of Martinique: Fort Saint-Louis, the market or the cathedral built in 1850.

Day 6 - Flemish Bay - Etang Z'Abricots - Anse Mitan - 7 miles

Before continuing your journey, take the opportunity to refill your tanks with water and fuel at the Etang des Z'Abricots marina, about 4 miles from your anchorage, still in the commune of Fort-de-France.

Head south to reach Anse Mitan, located a little more than 3 miles from the port, at Les Trois Ilets, at the Pointe du Bout. You can enjoy the anchorage facing the beach of the seaside resort and have dinner ashore, thanks to the plethora of restaurants.

Day 7 - Anse Mitan - Anse Noir - Anse Chaudière - 7 miles

Return to Les Anses d'Arlets to enjoy the turtle paradise. Choose to anchor at the Anse Noire anchorage, 3 miles from Anse Mitan for the day before heading for a quiet night in Anse Chaudière, a little further south, after a 4 mile sail.

Day 8 - Anse Chaudière - Marigot du Diamant/Anse Céron - 9 miles

Direction the most famous rock of Martinique, the Rocher du Diamant, located about 4 miles from Anse Chaudière. Watch out for shoals when going around the rock. For the night, you can anchor at Marigot du Diamant or Anse Céron, 5 miles away, where you can book a dive around the rock.

Day 9 - Anse Céron - Pointe Borgnesse - Sainte-Anne - 9 miles

Make the most of this penultimate day to reach the south-east of Martinique by taking advantage of a peaceful anchorage at Pointe Borgnesse after 7 miles of sailing. You can spend the night at anchor in front of Sainte-Anne, opposite, less than 2 miles away.

Day 10 - Saint-Anne - Le Marin - 3 miles

It's time to join the Marin to return your boat. Don't forget to refuel the boat before disembarking mid-morning.
