Fincantieri Yachts has teamed up with the designer Gabriele Teruzzi - whose work has included shaddai's intriguing concept - ...to add to his portfolio with a new 70-foot yacht, Blanche. Although the Italian builder specialises in building custom superyachts, he usually works on larger models (on average 100 m long).

For this new concept, the design was inspired by the history of the shipyard while creating a contemporary boat with an almost completely glazed superstructure, large openings to the sea, side beach clubs and a waterfall pool.

The layout is spread over the 5 decks, with large terraces to enjoy the outdoor life and a large helipad on the foredeck. A total of 14 guests can live on board, spread over the 6 double cabins on the main deck. As for the master cabin, it is located forward of the upper deck and has its own private terrace with swimming pool and sunbathing area.

The lower deck is dedicated to the crew, the 17 members sharing 10 cabins. At the stern, there is also a gym and a relaxation area with sun loungers that can be installed on the side terraces, flush with the water. Finally, a garage will be able to accommodate an annex of 10 m.

On the main deck, there are the living rooms with a lounge and a superb dining room, whose huge bay window opens onto the outside terrace.

Blanche will be equipped with two diesel engines of 2425 kW each for a maximum speed of 17 knots. At a cruising speed of 12 knots, the yacht should be able to cover up to 5?000 miles.
