B.Yond is the latest project of the Italian shipyard Benetti: a new category of expedition yacht based on the owners' wishes. This boat, designed in collaboration with the designer Stefano Ragini, has been conceived according to the rationalisation of volumes and spaces on board. The studio carried out a long volumetric study to arrange the space in a 36.5 m long and 8.6 m wide vessel on all four decks. The result is a practical boat where the privacy of the guests is preserved.
This first B.Yond 37M model has a steel hull and an aluminium superstructure and has an interior volume close to that of a 50 m yacht with a displacement of 500 GT.

A lower deck dedicated to the crew
The lower deck is entirely dedicated to the crew and service areas. There is a very large owner's cabin, as well as the galley, the crew's saloon and 4 crew cabins in the forepeak, but also a laundry room and a gym, which can also be converted into an additional double cabin, being accessible from the guest staircase on the main deck.
Aft, the engine room is directly accessible to the crew. Finally, at the stern, a large semi-enclosed garage with opening sides to facilitate launching and return to the garage, houses a 4.2 m tender for the crew, two jet skis and a 6.5 m tender. Another storage area is reserved for toys.

A main deck reserved for cabins
The main deck is therefore reserved for the owner and his guests. At the bow, there is a huge master suite with a private saloon and an en-suite bathroom with shower and bathtub.

The rest of the deck is arranged with two double cabins and two twin cabins with private bathroom. All of them have a view of the sea through huge side windows without having the noise of the waves slamming against the hull, as can be the case when the cabins are on the lower deck.

The two largest guest cabins can also be configured with an opening to the sea.

An upper deck for life on board
The upper deck is open and airy with plenty of room to sit and relax. There is a beautiful outdoor terrace with a dining table and seating area, as well as a large indoor saloon and a beautiful dining room at the bow of the boat with a bay window opening onto the foredeck with an outdoor lounge and sunbathing area.



The Bridgedeck for driving and relaxing
The Bridgedeck offers a well-designed cockpit with a dedicated cabin for the officer of the watch to rest in, an essential feature on cruising boats with a long range. The aft deck can be partially enclosed to create a stylish verandah.



A sundeck with jacuzzi
Finally, the sundeck allows you to eat and rest, thanks to the jacuzzi surrounded by sunbathing and the American bar.
Easy to move around, in complete privacy
Guests and crew can move around in complete privacy thanks to various staircases. A dumbwaiter connects the galley to the sundeck, allowing easy access to all four decks.
A beautiful rear bathing beach
The transom extends to create a deck on the water. The space has a nice headroom thanks to the creation of an extra deck and can be equipped with a hammam and a shower cabin as well as a storage space for diving equipment.
The crew has direct access from this aft platform to the lower deck reserved for them. They will then pass through the storage area to access the rest of the deck.


Thermal and electric motors
The B.Yond 37M's fuel tank allows it to travel 5?000 miles at a cruising speed of 10 n?uds? with a maximum speed of 14 knots. But above all, thanks to the E-Mode propulsion developed by Siemens, the 37m yacht has a hybrid propulsion system.
Not only thermal engines and electric generators but also electric motors are connected to a battery pack. It is therefore possible to switch off the main engines and let the generators power the electric motors to feed the thrusters. In this way, the batteries will be able to provide the necessary electricity for the on-board equipment.
This mode is ideal at night for sailing while guests are sleeping, to reduce vibration or to sail in areas where emissions are prohibited. It will also be used to enter and exit the harbour at silence?; the batteries will power the electric motors and onboard equipment.
During a long cruise, the electric motors can be powered by the main engines for propulsion and on-board equipment, while the battery pack manages voltage variations.
Thanks to this system it is possible to achieve a 10% reduction in fuel consumption compared to the use of main engines for propulsion and generators for the electrical load. The generators are not used in this mode at all.
It is also possible to use a single main engine to power the electric motor which will be dedicated to propulsion while the generator and batteries manage the other loads. With this mode, it is possible to reduce fuel consumption by 15%, but also to save the operating hours of the engine and generators.
