Web series / Mini 887 - Grégoire Chéron : A launch that doesn't go as planned

In this second episode of his preparation for the Mini Transat 2021, Grégoire Chéron (Mini 887) gets his boat ready for the water. But before that, he's going to have to do some repairs...

Remember, a month ago (it was March 2020), we announced a change of direction taken by Gregoire Chéron. A press attaché for skippers and adventurers, he decided to take the sporting step that separates him from those he accompanies and to embark on the adventure of the Mini Transat 2020.

In the first episode, Gregory found his boat and in this new episode he is about to launch it. But as the carrier brings the boat from Hennebont to Concarneau - its new home port - the hull will be damaged and will be covered with a deep rut. Nothing serious, but it will be quickly repaired in a shipyard.

Masting, discovering the inside of his Mini - which is no small task when you measure 2 m - inventory of the equipment, checking the sails... There is a bit of work before launching.

Then finally comes the time to go to the dry dock and bring his boat to the pontoon, the same pontoon where Stan Thuret's Class40 Everial is moored, who hastens to come and give his advice to Grégoire.

The adventure can now be commencer?!
