Web series / Pushed by the Wind: The joys of pregnancy at sea

In this 47th episode of the vlog Pushed by the Wind, Sarah tells us about her daily life as a pregnant woman while sailing.

Leaving Barbuda to reach Saint-Martin, Sarah is not in very good shape. Pregnant for 4 months she is very prone to seasickness and with a cross seas to cover these few miles, the navigation is very unpleasant.

Finally, in his misfortune, a forced stopover in Saint-Barth allowed him to shorten this inconvenience. Indeed, a fishing net became trapped in the propeller of their engine and despite a cape setting to remove the pieces, some still block the propeller, preventing Sarah and Aurélien from starting their engine

It is therefore at night, after an emergency stop, that Aurélien dives to remove the rest of the net. An operation that will only take him a few seconds. And in total, 5 m of very thick net caught in the propeller will have been removed without any damage.

Then comes the time to join Saint-Martin and their friends Loïc and Pauline for beautiful board sessions. Even Sarah at 4 months of pregnancy is enjoying the joys of hydrofoilboarding

Nael also learns about sliding sports by practicing bodyboarding, well protected by its imposing armbands
