Maximum comfort for the Zodiac Medline 7.5

The Zodiac Medline 7.5

To follow the trend of the "ever more" desired by boaters, Zodiac has just launched the Medline 7.5. This new model dedicated to idleness succeeds the Medline 740. The shipyard has worked hard on on-board comfort by offering many standard and optional features/equipment. Objectif?? Long family walks in a friendly atmosphere.

Always more comfort

After the Open range, it is now Zodiac's Medline range's turn to take a fresh look. Composed of 5 models from 5 m to 8.50 m, this mid-range semi-rigid line is designed for idleness. A single watchword: comfort on board and safety for family sailing.

The new Medline 7.5 is the successor to the Medline 740, its mid-range model. While the deck and hull of the old model have been preserved, the deck layout has been completely redesigned to offer a more comfortable, modern and user-friendly layout - with a large saloon at the rear for example - and safer when sailing.

Large rear platforms (standard) frame the engine to facilitate access to water. The latter are removable (7.34 m long with platform and 6.45 m long hull) for certification below 7 m and therefore exempt from francization tax on the hull.

A safe and spacious cockpit

Access to the cockpit is via a port side passage, by removing the backrest and folding the rear bench seat. Here, up to 8 people can sit around the cockpit table (standard), which also lowers for a sunbath (optional cushion). The seat back to the boslter tilts to the front to access the storage compartment below, which can accommodate an ice box (optional).

For greater safety in the cockpit, Zodiac has opted for polyester "wings". These rigid structures on the floats provide a feeling of protection and allow bimini and roll-bar (optional) attachment. For even more modularity, the rear backrest is reclining and two side seats allow you to configure the space according to your desires.

A bolster with kitchen

The boslter receives a double seat for a sit/stand drive with side handrails. Under the seat, there is a kitchen with a rather original opening. If the seat is usually tilted forward, here the bolster opens laterally by means of a cylinder. As standard, there is a sink, but an optional cutting board and/or stove can be added. A 39 L refrigerator (optional) with freezer compartment is located under the bolster, facing forward.

A tilting console

The console is slightly off-centre to starboard to free up a large port side passage and make it easier to move forward. It is equipped with a fairly low windshield (enough to be protecteur??), a front seat and a large dashboard to accommodate a large screen up to 12 inches depending on the trend. The design is very modern and sharp, which gives the Medline 7.5 a sporty touch.

Another special feature is that it tilts forward to reveal a large storage box capable of accommodating the cockpit table, the sunbed and its extension or even sports equipment.

A "private beach" on the front

The front of the boat is a huge swimming beach (sunbathing extension and optional deckchair cushion kit at the front) dedicated to idleness. For even greater safety, Zodiac offers an optional stainless steel balcony directly attached to the float. Another storage box is hidden under the cushions. The electric windlass (optional) is located in the bow and a polyester roller on the front with mooring cleats provides additional access to the boat.

A lot of equipment to have fun

Zodiac has pushed comfort to the maximum by offering a boat that is already well equipped as standard: hand shower, front sunbathing, cockpit table and bathing platform. There are many on-board storage spaces (trunks, console storage, etc.) and accessories (USB plug, cup holders, etc.).

To adapt to the demand of customers who want more and more equipment, the yard now offers a kitchen and the possibility to customize its Medline 7.5 with many options: ski mast, bimini, roll bar..

With a capacity of 16 people (cat. C/6 people cat. B), the Medline 7.5 offers up to 12 seats. Hypalon floats are available in 3 colours, just like the upholstery. 2 gelcoat colours are available. With a maximum power of 300 HP, the Medline reaches a maximum speed of 48 knots, but its weight/power ratio (1150 kg) allows it to receive a smaller engine.
